did a masonry restoration job on this historic home in Council Bluffs, Iowa .This was the Bregant Home . We had to shore the porch up and rebuild the brickwork around the porch and the porch stoop.
We completed a masonry restoration job on this historic building in Omaha, Nebraska. It is the Humpmobile building built in 1917 . It is located in Omaha's historic Auto row . We had to clean all of the masonry on the building. Then we had to grind out all the bad mortar joints and tuck-point with color matching mortar. We also had to replace any damaged brick with salvaged brick that we supplied that matched. Then we had to fix the tile sign at the top center of the building. We also installed masonry anchors on the top section of the front of the building.
We tackled this historic underground railroad house in Lewis Iowa know as the George B Hitchcock House. We had to fix a failing limestone foundation and rebuild it with limestone quarried from a local quarry . We also had to underpin the house and install I-beams to support the load of the home as we completed the foundation work . It was a very fun historic preservation job . After the foundation wall was completed we had to replace the stone that we had to remove for the supports and put back into the original places and tuck-point . We even had to carve and replace a large entry stone on one side of the home.

this job we had to add on to this sign doing the new foundation and brickwork making it all match the original so it would blend. We also had to pour a concrete cap matching the original dimensions of the original one. Then Design8 Studios came in to install the new sign .
